We pride ourselves on quality and health so we have DNA and OFA testing performed on our breeding Sires and Dams. We do this for the love of these canines and to bring opportunities for others who already love the breed and those just getting to know them. Dachshunds are great with kids, adults and other animals. The name “Dachshund” is actually German for badger dog. Dachshunds' short legs keep them low to the ground to track scents, and their narrow bodies allow them to crawl into burrows, looking for badgers. Despite their small size, Dachshunds are brave and fierce.
